Over the next couple of months Tim and Lynsey will be making preparations to head out with ACRE International to Brazil. Often they could give reasons and excuses why it would be better for someone else to go; yet looking back on how the Lord has gone before them over the past number of years, they can affirm His faithfulness and confidently embark on the next step of their journey, knowing that He is going before them.
They praise the Lord for two amazing years of invaluable spiritual and practical training and the Lord’s faithfulness and provision throughout their time at New Tribes Mission’s North Cotes College. They also praise the Lord for the loan of a house in Bangor for a couple of months which has given them a bit of space and an opportunity to prepare themselves before their much anticipated departure early in the New Year to Manaus (DV). There is much to be done before then, with regards to paperwork, formalities, visa applications, vaccinations and travel arrangements.
In August Tim and Lynsey started their deputation with ACRE International and since then have been attending meetings and prayer groups, introducing themselves and sharing how the Lord has led them into the work. They have been really blessed and encouraged by the prayerful support and fellowship with the folks they’ve met from all over the province; seeing some familiar faces again as well as meeting new ones. Without the prayers of faithful saints ‘holding the ropes’, the task would be impossible.
Pray for the Lord’s continued leading, for visas/paperwork to go smoothly, good health and safety in travel and for strength as they prepare to leave friends and family.
