NTMA pilot Brian Schaadt has already taken three trips to deliver supplies or assist others coming out of the tribe without the use of the helicopter: one trip in a truck, one in a Land Cruiser, and the other on a motorcycle. He has also loaded a van with supplies and along with his family driven to a coastal town to rendezvous with a boat driver who then delivered the supplies to the missionaries via an eight hour sea trip.
The Lord is taking care of the missionaries either by giving them safety as they make long and somewhat dangerous hikes out of the tribe or as they stay in the tribe and find alternate ways to transport supplies. All in all, the consensus so far is that the helicopter is by far the best way to go. Please continue to pray that it will be airborne again soon.
