Back in the UK

As we have all experienced, at times the plans in our lives can change very quickly.

Paul and Marina Briggs returned from Ivory Coast to Northern Ireland last Saturday morning after a really encouraging two-month visit with the Loron people.

During the trip, Paul began to feel unwell, not from Covid-19 and, to cut a long story short, just a day after they came home, he ended up in the accident and emergency department of their local hospital.

Because they had come from West Africa and had stopped in Portugal, Paul was put into an isolation ward for twenty-four hours for observation before being moved onto the general ward. He hopes that he will be able to go home today, Friday. The symptoms have eased quite a bit.

It has been an interesting week so far, but Paul and Marina are so thankful that, with all the uncertainty, that they are back in the UK. They would appreciate your prayers.
