Arrival in PNG

Back in September, Sibylle had shipped boxes of belongings to PNG, and she is now starting to feel settled in her nice, spacious apartment. She was happy that she could take time to adjust to the different time zone and get rid of a cold. For the first three days invitations for lunch and dinner had been arranged. So Sibylle has already started to get acquainted with some people.
A trip into town was helpful, overwhelming, interesting, and stirred Sibylle’s desire to be able to actually talk to the local people.
Sibylle has now started her culture and language studies and has already visited the little market in front of the centre gate. Neighbours sell fruits and vegetables from their gardens. It is wonderfully fresh and she says it tastes absolutely yummy.
Pray for Sibylle as she continues to adjust.
