February was a very full month for David and Christine Baxter who serve at the mission school in Mexico! It started out with lots of staff travelling or being absent for extended periods of time because of sickness. Christine found herself going from teaching English, to Math, to Spanish, to 6th grade Science then Junior High Science with many other activities after the school day was done!
They are thankful to the Lord for the health and strength to keep up with the workload, but it wasn’t all hard work at the school. They were chaperones for the High School Valentine’s Day party… they did what the students wanted to do, go to the mall, eat at the food court, and hang out. An easy to please group! The 6th graders enjoyed doing a project on clouds. And the Junior High class had a great time exploring the local limestone cave formations as they finished off that unit in their science class!
David and his team have stayed busy locally and in the tribe. A co-worker and his family were able to visit and help with many projects in one of the Tarahumara locations including some finishing touches inside the church building.
Thank you so much for praying for David and Christine and for their ministries in Mexico!
