What is Gift Aid and how does it work?
If you are a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid is one of the simplest and most effective ways of increasing your giving to charity. It is a scheme introduced by HM Revenue & Customs which allows us to reclaim the basic rate of tax you pay as a UK taxpayer. Gift Aid is worth at least an extra 25p for every £1 you give. This is at absolutely no extra cost to you! The scheme covers single donations or regular donations of any value. You may sign a Gift Aid declaration covering all future gifts or you may sign a declaration just to cover one specific gift. If your circumstances change or you no longer wish to subscribe to the scheme you can cancel your declaration at any time. Find out here if you qualify for Gift Aid.
How are NTM-UK missionaries supported?
NTM-UK does not pay a salary to anyone whether serving on home staff or abroad. All members are full-time missionaries who in faith look to the Lord for provision of their financial needs. They are encouraged to tell others about their ministry and be open about their needs in a way that does not compromise their confidence in God. Support comes from sending churches, with additional help from other churches, family, friends and other individuals.
How is the NTM-UK headquarters financed?
NTM-UK relies on donations to support the operating expenses of the headquarters and to finance any current projects. Unspecified gifts may also be used to help meet these financial needs.
How much of the gift will the missionary or project receive?
The full amount of each donation will be given to the missionary or project for which the donation is specified. (Less card payment fees, if applicable)
Is making a credit card donation online secure?
Making an online donation on our website is completely safe. When you make a donation, your web browser connects to a secure server. Any personal information you enter onto our online donation pages (including credit or debit card number, name and address) is encrypted before being sent to our card payment processor. They store your information in a carefully controlled environment using industry standard practices.
Is there a charge for using a Credit / Debit Cards?
In order to cover the card processing fees we incur, we will charge a 1% administration fee on all Debit card transactions and a 2% administration fee on all Credit card transactions.
Can I make a legacy to NTM?
We know that your first priority when making a will is to provide for your loved ones, but many people find that even after they have done this they can leave something to a cause they hold dear.
